| Based on the variety of different browsers available to the public, certain features may not perform as intended. Based on your feedback, here are some of the issues that have been noted: | |
| a) How do I control the 'Cookies' setting in my browser ? | |
| Our online reservation system requires that you accept 'cookies'. These 'cookies' only capture information vital to the status of the session. See our privacy disclaimer for more information. Here are instructions on changing the 'cookie' setting in your browser | |
| b) When using the AOL browser, why do I get a blank page after clicking 'Book Now' button on the Quote page ? | |
| There is an incompatibility issue with previous versions of the AOL browser. Our recommended solution is to open a different browser (such as Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox) and then access our online reservation system. | |
| c) Why am I receiving a 'Timeout Violation' ? | |
| Please Address the Following Issue: Timeout Violation: This session has experienced 20 minutes of inactivity. | |
| In the case of a period of inactivity greater than the maximum allowed, you will able to reestablish your session with the click of a [Restart] button. If you are an AOL user, there is currently an incompatibility issue with the AOL browser. To avoid this issue, please use the browser that was installed with your operating system or a stand-alone version (recommend: Internet Explorer, Mozilla, or Safari for Macintosh). | |
| d) How can I increase the viewable area associated to the online reservation system ? | |
| With most browsers, you can toggle the viewable area by clicking on the [F11] function key. Each time, it will increase or decrease the viewable area. | |
| e) When clicking [Back] to a previous page, why am I receiving the error message ? | |
| Warning: Page has Expired The page you requested was created using information you submitted in a form. This page is no longer available. As a security precaution, Internet Explorer does not automatically resubmit your information for you. To resubmit your information and view this Web page, click the Refresh button. | |
| The only solution that works consistently is to simply delete your temporary internet files. To do this, go to your browser menu bar and click on the following: [Tools - Internet Options - General Tab - Delete Files]. This warning has been mostly occurring in Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 6.0. You may also want to make sure that the most recent service pack has been installed for your browser. | |
